Jabari

Jabari Jefferson is a skilled filmmaker based in Washington, D.C. Mr. Jefferson has been filming professionally since 2016. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Delaware State University in 2018, he has been successfully running his production company entitled Mass Comm Guru Productions, LLC. His client base ranges from non-profits, educational institutions, churches, corporations, local businesses, theater companies, music production companies, and many more. Mr. Jefferson serves primarily as a Director of Photography (DP) but has served as a gaffer, producer, camera operator, editor, and assistant camera for several projects in his career.

Mr. Jefferson also is a published photographer. He has captured theater production and publicity photos for the Anacostia Playhouse since 2017, which has increased their digital content and online presence. His latest work includes a feature-length documentary he produced, directed and DP'd on his mentor Dr. Jalaal A. Hayes, who is is the youngest in the United States of America to receive his Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry. Jabari Jefferson primarily uses the following editing software: Adobe Premiere, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Audition. Lastly, Mr. Jefferson shoots primarily on the Canon c-series cameras including the Canon C100, C200, and C300.
