I recorded the technique when I did the artwork for Meek Mill for anyone that wants to see what it looks like. I used Photoshop, mainly the pen tool with some coloring and filters. I learned how to do this via YouTube and Google. As an artist, those two sites should be your best friends.
I made this collection to learn more about black history and practice a new technique I learned in Photoshop. I did not know most of the figures displayed below before this collection, but I felt that they were necessary for everyone to know about after I learned about them. This collection took about a month of non-stop work to make. I would like to do one every year with different figures, so this is Volume 1.
